Applied Climate Services, LLC (ACS) was founded in 2008. ACS specializes in Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) studies, Hydrometeorology, Storm Analysis, and Forensic Meteorology. Each of our site specific PMP studies has received regulatory approval (at the Federal, State, or Local level) or is in the process of being approved.
ACS is headed by George H. Taylor, Certified Consulting Meteorologist and former State Climatologist for Oregon (1989-2008). Additional staff includes meteorologists, GIS analysts, and statisticians.
